Expossumbar.com is an independent digital media outlet based in Yogyakarta. We write for people who need quick answers but don’t want to take information at face value: what the actual costs are, what rules are currently in effect, which products make sense, and what steps to take today.
What We Cover
Our focus is on practical information for the daily lives of Indonesians: business and SMEs, the economy and personal finance, technology, automotive, lifestyle, beauty, and trending topics.
The name Expos Sumbar comes from the way we work: information must be fast, but we still verify every number before publication.
How We Work
Every Expossumbar.com article goes through the same process:
- Research from multiple sources. We do not base our articles on a single piece from another media outlet. Next, we verify claims, figures, and regulations against primary sources government agencies, official regulations, brands’ official websites, research institutions, or market data as of the date of publication.
- Dated figures. Prices, rates, and regulations change. Therefore, we also include the date of verification and update articles when the data is no longer current.
- Clear sources. When we cite an institution or regulation, we include the source’s name in the article and link to the official document when available.
- Human editors make the final call. Our editorial team uses software, including artificial intelligence, to assist with research, summarize data, and draft content. Decisions regarding what is publishable, fact-checking, and the article’s perspective remain the sole authority of the human editor responsible for each article. We also believe readers have the right to know this.
- Open corrections. If you find an error, please send it to info@expossumbar.com. We will then correct any verified errors in the article and add a note detailing the changes.
Independence and Advertising
Expossumbar.com is funded by advertising and affiliate programs. However, advertising does not influence the content of our articles. In addition, paid content from third parties is always clearly labeled. Articles containing affiliate links also include a disclosure at the top; the price you pay remains the same, and product recommendations are based on editorial judgment, not the size of the commission.
Photos and Licenses
Photos on Expossumbar.com come from official brand or institutional documentation, Creative Commons-licensed collections and the public domain, or our own editorial documentation. Each photo caption includes the creator’s credit and license information. If you are the owner of a work and believe the attribution is incorrect, please contact us and we will correct it.
